I don’t buy it - if that was the reason, why not just go AMD?

Yeah the master branch one confuses me for the same reason. To me it meant just main, like a master recording, or a master copy. If its used alongside slave, then yeah, but its not. There’s no slave branch, that’s not how it works.

I mean she was seriously boring on Celebrity too. No idea who she was and good god she was dull - I think she’s been managed by people for so long now since she was so young that she doesn’t actually know how to behave without being explicitly instructed.

Its the yuan, not yen - same symbol.

Netflix regularly does weekly releases - in the UK, a lot of US shows are ‘Netflix exclusives’ and come out each week, such as RuPaul’s Drag Race, Better Call Saul, Black Lightning...

One Day At A Time got picked up by Pop TV - its still the same show, but shorter, and with weirder lighting.

Its after the episode on UK Netflix - I guess they shifted it because we all started skipping past it.

They’re 60 minutes on Netflix in the UK, with obviously no commercials. Is Prime editing out a bunch of the show itself?

Yeah, calling it an exclusive makes no sense since unless its not gonna be on uPlay at all, it’ll be available to buy directly on uPlay too. So in what possible sense is it exclusive?!

Not for a long damn time - I enjoy going to the cinema, and its still regularly cheap enough in the UK (enough offers to make it £7 for 2 people), but until I’m vaccinated I am staying the hell away from the cinema and watching stuff at home.

Played most of Borderlands 2 on my Vita at work back in the day, so this seems fair enough to me.

So I’ve been working from home for over a week now - nothing very new, I usually WFH at least 2 days a week. Went in on Thursday as I knew we were going to shut the office and I wanted to grab some stuff. My company then recommended WFH on Friday, and then shut the office properly today (following government advice).

Yeah but on the other hand $20 for a family is a lot less than the cinema.

In the UK, the change you’re talking about is in the damn trailers. And thus all my interest in the movie died.

I mean Google hasn’t updated the app since 2017, so...

He tells Forbes that he plans to create a museum featuring his vast collection of video game consoles and arcade machines.

All? Maybe not. But EA, Activision, Ubisoft, they certainly do. And the others will then sell their games to the highest bidders.

I mean if you look at video streaming, we went from Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, to endless individual streaming services by all the broadcasters/movie studios who want in. Its the same thing here - they’ve done it with storefronts, and there’s no lucrative monthly subscriptions there. It can't be sustained,

I mean I’d be annoyed if I lost my console and had no way to restore my saves - with the Switch being a portable console, the odds of this increase.

Yeah. This was Tuesday, it was two days after release, and I hadn't seen it yet  This spoilt it for me. Fuck you io9 for this, I'm out.
