No. Rain and salt tends to trash it over one winter. I think that must have been the beginnings of it. But, generally chrome is perceived as a cheap way to try and look wealthy

Europe is probably the first continent to honestly reach peak car. It may be a few years before we know for sure, and a sudden technological wave (hydrogen breakthrough, autonomous cars) could easily change this, but for now Europeans aren't going to be convinced to buy more cars.

Drove the ML63 AMG on track and off road recently. Was enormously capable and great fun on track, waded through 3 feet of water and drove up and down what felt like a vertical incline! Was VERY impressed.

I taught my kids to drive on my inlaws farm on Salisbury Plain. They get in the seat at 13 and learn the basics in the middle of a huge field with nothing to hit!

Do GM cars in the US have the same insane pricing policy as Vauxhall do in the UK? Vauxhall overprice their cars in the full knowledge the customer will be able to reduce the price by up to 30% by simply asking.
