Here's what I've found - new performance cars are fantastic. New normal cars are awful. Renaultsport Megane 265 is superb, Renault Megane is dreary. Mercedes E class is for old people, Mercedes E 63 AMG is fun! Etc etc

Most included in list price but, for example, I drove a Maserati GranTurismo Sport press car recently. The first years car tax (not included in list price) was £2,000 and getting on for £1,000 a year thereafter
