Happily it's a product of GM building Australian cars with the steering wheel on the right, which meant it could be sold here in the UK without too much fettling. I just wish we'd get the rest of the Commodore range - which majors on V8s and V6s rather than the 1.6 turbodiesel units we normally get from Vauxhall.

Sometimes even with a crappy cameraphone and no skills the action is so close and so good you can't help but capture something spine tingling - even if the quality of the vid is awful.

Ouch. Makes our banger racing seem tame, although it can get quite lairy

That just happens with the Sport over here

Europop. Perfect for Seb. I reckon Mark is probably more of a rocker though

In the UK it's Toyota and Honda as they're bought by people who don't care about cars or how they drive, but want good residuals and reliability. Also, an entire class - all SUVs with the exception of anything from Land Rover.

It should be called the Hyundai Astonjagalfatvr

Looks much better in one colour IMHO. In the flesh it's an absolute beauty, and not as large as I imagined.

Sadly not. That was a few years ago, in the days before smartphones meant we had a camera ready for any occasion

That's £2440 here in the UK which is waaaaaay too much for an old XR4i of that vintage. $1500, or £1000, is more like it. And how many different shades of red?

Do you get the VW Phaeton in the US? Basically a Continental with a VW badge and body. And epic depreciation. You can buy an 04 for £6k/$12k

I missed this one. My nomination is the otherwise awesome Mercedes C 63 AMG (yes, AMG) Shooting Brake. Because at idle it sounds like this (No, your speakers aren't broken. It really does make no noise)

With the hard points set, the all-new Soul was boiled down to three focus areas: Maintaining the iconic design while adding modern cues; providing premium features and content; and improving driving dynamics that would make the 2014 Soul more desirable than ever.

That's rubbish! And so it turns out is the S4 in the UK. I just checked, we get the same thing. I've got an 04 S4 with the 4.2 V8

Do they? Not in the UK sadly

It's got a carbon fibre windscreen! Maybe that's like Zaphod Beeblebrox's sunglasses which turn black at the merest sign of danger...

My parents in law live on Salisbury Plain where the British Army practice manoeuvres and test out new tech. We once watched a Land Rover get pushed out of the back of a Hercules transport plain with a new type of parachute. The parachute failed to work. The Land Rover got flat. No video unfortunately but here's my

The supercharged V8 sounds amazing. Snap, crackle, explosion. And all this while BMW and Audi make twin turbo engines with less and less noise. Maybe they should all use superchargers...

Some Jag stuff in there. New Jag stuff though - F Type
