I've actually considered making an offer on that car. I'm going to let him sit a bit on the price though.

I really don't get this car... What is the attraction? There are many sedans that are more stylish, powerful, luxurious, have more utility, less expensive, and don't break down constantly. Why is this in any way attractive to anyone? How is it in any way popular with anyone?

The VW community is super duper tight. I've broken down more than once way far away from anyone or anything that might be considered familiar, and despite having plenty of insurance coverage for anything I might have needed, the best course of action was to pull out my phone and start dialing down the AIRS list. My drummer in college was hit by a COP while crossing the street in a walking mall kind of place. Broke his femur. The cop wrote him a ticket for jay walking.

For those just joining us from twenty years ago, Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson hates a lot of things. Mercedes' perfume sprayer in the new S-Class... Because stinking up your car with cardboard xmas trees is too working class, but stinking up your car isn't if it costs hundreds of dollars and has some ridiculous froofy name.

Jason's Law: Driving a slow car fast is much more fun than driving a fast car slow.
