Funny story - I actually know this guy personally. I went to high school with him. I remember him riding up and down the main street that our high school was on, wheelieing (sp?) freely up and down the street on his mom’s hybrid (the flat-bar bicycle kind, not electric kind).
On a macro value, utility value is higher than monetary luxury value. A person’s car that gets them to and from work is double or triple the value to society of a dealership’s unsold Q60s.
My insurance has actually paid sticker twice, which was a good thing because there was no way I was going to get that price if I tried to sell them.

Disgusting. Two things surprise me about this:
Old Alfas are actually backwards cars on mileage. More miles is better because it means someone actually bothered to maintain the thing, or else it would’t run and drive anymore. Alfas that sit are almost never reliable Alfas.
