Totally this. The old Accord is now the Civic and the old Civic is now the Fit. The Fit really embraces many of the things that made the Civic great, including trading refinement for utility.

I consider the Fit to be more or less a descendant of the old Civic hatchbacks. Small footprint, big interior and miserly fuel consumption. The new models just seem opulent in comparison.
