Interestingly enough, with how many companies are moving to Texas, it’s causing a bit of a demographic shift. Houston and Dallas are becoming more blue, and Austin is already blue but growing very quickly (though still not anywhere near Houston & Dallas.)

Having recently rented a Fiesta and having rented a Focus in the past, I think both would be very difficult to fit a convertible seat in with a passenger in the front seat. The Fiesta we only had a few days, but did have to put the baby seat in back and it would have been tight in the passenger seat if someone were

Very timely article, I saw one of these during my drive into work today and got pretty excited. I can’t remember the last time I’d seen one.

We don’t call them “payolas,” we call them “campaign contributions.”

And if you plan to use it in the elements, consider the OM-D EM-5. Very similar camera, but with a weatherproof body.

Then that’s what you decide to do with your time. The author was simply stating that it can be very expensive to not have a plan on what to do with your time, they decided to launch another career. Should your plan to be to travel or something that costs money, then you need to identify that and have it properly

Not sure if it’s the same line, but I have the X-540 5.1 system, probably close to a decade old as well. Bought them on sale for somewhere around $60 or $70 and they’re still pretty good for average music listening.

Interestingly enough, if you look back through the historical street view images, the truck has barely (or perhaps hasn’t) moved since 2009. That’s a pretty damn long time to have your truck street parked. He has made some pretty decent progress on the driveway over the years though!

As if that grille wasn’t fucking giant enough, he needed to add auxiliary grilles to the front, and multiples on each side. What a monstrosity.

There’s something Z8-esque about the rear end.

Having worked in logistics for quite some time, it’s quite unlikely that consumers will ever see these savings.

There are two in Chicago for right around $3,000, one with 131k miles and one with 176k. Granted they don’t come with three sets of wheels or any of the mods, but on a 12 year old car I think I’d rather that was the case anyways. $4,500 seems a little steep.

There’s something that’s both tremendously ironic and vintage about a Gremlin. I’m told these are both things the youths enjoy.

My daughter is 17 months (21 lbs) and still uses it. Can’t speak to above that, though I don’t know why it’d stop being useful.

Same here. We have the same dresser sets in the room that my wife used when she was in college. Baby pad went on top of the three drawer something from Ikea. Top drawer has our cloth diaper goodies and changing pad covers, middle drawer has pj’s, bottom drawer has clothes that are too big for her now. The other

My deadbeat stepdad had one, a first gen. It sat in the driveway rotting the entire time he was around, which was somewhere around ten years. It was left in the driveway when they moved out of the house it was at, and likely just went to the crusher. 10-13 year old me wanted so bad to fix it up, but without any

Especially with how plentiful lightly-used bikes are, there’s really no reason to get something that will break easily and is as heavy as the low-end bikes are. Even buying prior-year’s models is a way to catch a deal, though going with something used will typically be even less expensive.

And if the new mid priced bikes are out of your price range, you should be looking for a used bike that used to be in that range but is now falling into the low price range. There are nearly always older models on craigslist or similar sites that can be had at a fraction of the price new.

To be fair, that statement was cited on Wikipedia as coming from a textbook used by senior undergrads and freshman graduate students in mechanical engineering courses.

The amount mobility exercises like this will decrease the risk of tendon or ligament injury as you progress with building muscle can’t be overstated, especially in calisthenics, which require a lot of end-of-range-of-motion exercises to progress. I had to have wrist surgery to remove a cyst. Had I done proper mobility
