So the Lamby thing was fucked up. You are always supposed to return a rescue to the rescue facility, or rehome the pet with their involvement. But this is totally different, and is so unbelievably callous. An old dog died. That's pretty normal. I'm also grossed out. 

In Japan it was common for people to congregate outside shops electronics shops to watch TV on the demo units. And like you say, people would go to someone house, just like the early days of console gaming where we would all go to that one guy’s place because he was one of the few who had a NES.
