I rented three Wrangler Unlimited Saharas this year for a week apiece, and you’re completely full of it.

Even this piece of crap got more of a marketing campaign than the Chevy SS did? Fuck.
THANK YOU! More people need to know this. Choking cars with needless emissions gear and engine downsizing is barking up the wrong tree.
Not an Escalade driver, but the rest definitely sounds like me haha
TBH, they still have improvements to make on the products themselves before they can reach popular acceptance and desirability.
Perhaps. My guess would be that the vast majority just doesn’t get good deals, so the 20% thing perpetuates...
It would be the 3.0T in my case. I do want the extra power, and the mileage looks to be very much doable. Plus, the sound that engine makes with a resonator delete/x-pipe and S4/5 mufflers... Also, I’m set on the multicontour seats (this is what happens once you’re used to Volvo seats lol), which are 3.0T-only.
My car was an XC90, her car was a Civic. Pretty different markets, yet a very similar result!
There are massive discounts to be had with luxury cars, too! As an example, I researched and haggled when I bought my luxury SUV new, so I lost 4% when I drove off the lot, instead of 20%...
Where is registration and insurance cheaper for used cars? Where I live, registration fees are flat, and insurance is more tied to the cost of repair than how old it is.
Did they tell you why it was (I assume) traded in after only 3 months? Genuinely curious, as I’m thinking about buying an A6, and it might end up having to be used...
Yes you can... I know because I did it. Haggled the price down such that the difference b/w what I paid and what it was worth when I drove it off the lot was four percent. A four percent savings isn’t worth all the compromises a used car inherently brings, even if it’s just 1 year old.
Instant ~20% off the second you drive off the lot.
My 2009 (Volvo) even does, and a smoker’s package wasn’t even an option...
Did they say why there’s a start button instead of the knob/switch all the other models have? It’s arguably the coolest feature!
First-gen XC90 master race lol
Did you know they still sell the part? Costs like $1, and you can install it yourself quickly in models that originally had it. Might do it on my own Volvo hehe
Counterpoint: that vertical grab handle is perfect for holding onto while riding as a passenger!
TBH, I can see the confusion, as the stop signs are kinda hidden, and there are no stop lines on the asphalt. That said, simply painting stop lines would solve the entire problem. All this other stuff was unnecessary.
Ninja edit, disregard.
