...what? All Volvos already have the 2.0L supercharged and turbocharged engine.

Sweet gallery!

It’s getting axed, most likely. The place that the current 6 lineup serves will be allocated to the upcoming (even more upmarket) 8 series, while the 6 nameplate will live on only as a four-dour-coupe version of the current G30 5-series...

Most CPO warranties are similar... What’s the point of buying them if a car is, say, 1 or 2 years old?

That I know. What’s the point of buying a CPO warranty if a car is, say, 1 or 2 years old?

If you don’t want it, they’ll take that $2k or so our of the price... I know it extends the factory warranty, but what’s the point if you’re buying a 1 or 2 year old car? Why not buy the CPO warranty near the end of the factory warranty (if you end up keeping the car)?

I’ve got a question about that – what’s the point of buying a CPO warranty on a used car that’s still very much under its new car warranty?

Maybe it’s because, between the super-suspicious way they killed the EV1 and GM’s lack-of-quality since about the beginning of time, people don’t trust GM. Not that puzzling, IMHO.

Nope, those are sealed beams. What you wrote is an aftermarket accessory for those vans!

Funny, the guy around here with “AMG LOL” plates drives an F10 M5... (true story, saw him last week!)

Agreed. GM always manages to kill or sell off any of its subdivisions worth a damn.

Probably just classic, short-sighted GM. They always find a way to force the same thing they’ve always done, and I guess they don’t expect that to change.

This was cemented before they sold Opel off. But this will be the last generation of Opels we’ll see as Buicks, as a result.

Thanks again! I definitely prefer the sedan over the hatch, if nothing else but for the slightly increased rear seat space (we’re a tall family hehe). I always had the impression that the sedan looked to be leaner (for lack of a better word) than the hatch – good to know that’s actually the case!

One more thing they do like nobody else: offroad vans!

Thanks for the feedback! I’m not optimistic about the upcoming turbo motor, either, to the point that (if I end up missing the boat for a new C7) I’d rather buy a used C7 than a new C8... Really liking how the 3.0T has been consistently good, no matter who you ask – almost as much as I like what a C7 3.0T sounds like

Looking hard at getting a facelift A6 within the next year or two. How do you like it otherwise? Which engine does yours have?

Import away! Did you know that, during those years when the dollars were at par, Canadians imported USDM new cars like crazy? The savings over the Canadian prices ranged from a couple thousand to $20k+...hell, I was ready to do the same before I got a US price at a Canadian dealer. Even today, it’s not rare to see a

Promaja.

...my next car will be brand new and MT...
