I realize you said “the less said, the better”, but I need to know! I’m set on an LCI M4 for long-term ownership (and with the least tech as possible – i.e. manual, static suspension, non-ZCP). What has your experience been??
The used market will make saying goodbye much, much easier.
I, too, I find that washing a car more than it actually gets dirty is way too obsessive – but swirl marks are the devil. It’s strictly touchless automatic carwashes (i.e. liquid only, absolutely no contact) or the two-bucket method with detailer’s lambskin mitts and mild shampoo for my cars...when I actually get…
At the rental counter yesterday, I had a choice between a Journey and a Sienna. Am I ever glad I chose the Toyota...
It’s not even out yet and it already looks dated.
Having sat in a ATS-V, I’m not surprised. They’re overpriced by about that much.
A new car these days that does things exactly as well as it looks? I cannot describe how satisfying that is.
Helped by the fact that there was no 2015 XC90... The last MY was 2014!
You could always just not charge your 75kWh battery all the way every time...
No kidding, dude... My point was, there’s a 99% chance that the leaky exhaust is one of them, having gone through the exact same thing with my MkIV recently.
Crazy markups. People are generally unaware of how much they can haggle off – with a deal done right, you can eliminate that ‘off the lot’ depreciation (ignoring taxes, of course)!
Those fees are horseshit! I ordered my car (Volvo) w/ no fees, paid about invoice, and the entire process took 15 minutes. I also see more mention of cars being ordered (as opposed to bought off the lot) on BMW, Merc, Audi, and Volvo forums.
So I guess that means this’ll be the last Raptor gen...
A little help for any hopeful contestants-to-be:
Yeah, it’s not just likely – it’s absolutely true, and has scathing consequences.
The way it works (worked?) with front bench seat-equipped cars was the driver’s airbag covers only the driver, while the front passenger’s airbag is twice as large and extends over in front of the middle occupant as well.
...which is ironic, b/c Tauruses commonly had a front bench seat up until 2007!
Ditto with my XC90. Having a taller cargo area means quite a bit!
