Feet on the transmission tunnel! It’s fairly accommodating in that respect. the seat itself is narrow, though.

...because you people have signed me up for every single e-mail list that exists, and I few that I honestly wonder if you created for the sole purpose of sending me strange e-mails.

Hear that engine note, automakers? That’s how you make people not give one single damn about what’s under the hood.

It’s really refreshing to see a next-gen car that you can’t camoflage by doing this to it:

Props to you, sir!

Glad they added door pockets (i.e. over what the Model S has), but storage under the seat defeats the purpose when you have to brake for a surprise jaywalker...

LOL no implication there. The gist was clear, and the technicality is moot when you consider my SUV’s folding front passenger’s seat, which I’ve used pretty often in the 7 years I’ve had it.

As someone who’s driven those plus two Model S-es, I’d agree! Adjusting the cabin temp by listening to the number of clicks, as opposed to looking down for 2 seconds while moving, is as good as it gets.

I see lots of $80k+ SUVs with roof racks or storage boxes, because rich people like to go skiing... None of them puts their wet skis inside the cabin.

The X has folding third-row seats. The second row seats do not fold.

Yeah, the signs can be fairly different. My train of thought was that they aren’t terribly noticeable in the vids.

I would disagree somewhat – lots of people turn around when a Model S drives by, and/or lust after one. Plus, it’s a four-year-old car. Definitely not dated.

...as per the video’s commenters that pointed out that the road markings on Canadian roads are quite different than what you’d find in the States.

It might actually be ten times more safe. Assuming the $2k Cherokee isn’t also rusted to hell, it was made before anyone really cared about crash test standards. The new one needs a five-star rating (and today’s standards are more stringent than back then) just to compete.

I feel ya, man. We had a black ‘95 Pathfinder XE that we’d still have today were it not for one uncertain moment many, many years ago... Damn.

On any other site, I’d wholeheartedly agree...

Agreed! The only way to hide it now is to get a black one w/ the front plate bracket drilled on...

I’d wager you’re overthinking it. To me, the shape doesn’t seem to have changed a single bit – they just erased the black bits of the old grille so the Model S resembles the Model X and upcoming Model 3...

The difference being Saturn actually designed the car around not having a grille, instead of just taking an eraser to it.

That grille – it needs to be on the standard car! I love it when they do historic touches like that.
