Didn’t think I’d find any commenters arguing in favor of pointless nested launchers, but okay.

Sure, I’m aware of the stuff publishers have done to avoid paying for expensive Switch cartridges, but to my original point I wasn’t aware of the examples folks have been sharing about disc-based games that basically have nothing on the disc.
Yes, people still buy discs. Not everyone is in love with our Glorious All Digital Leasing Future.
100GB is a fuck-ton of data. Even if it wasn’t the whole game, and the lot of it needed to be installed anyway, having it on the disk would save a lot of downloading.
I just want to say that everytime I have gone into a gamestop the employees were doing their damndest to be polite and personable and considering how shitty the job is I want to thank them for not taking it out on the customers. You deserve better.
Pretty much any game that I buy at release or while they’re still full price I get them on disc. Then in a month or so when I’ve had my fun and moved on I can sell the game on ebay for nearly what I paid for it.
People mix up “detailed” for realistic a lot.
Safeway is listed as # 2 for South Carolina and there are a grand total of zero in the state
I gotta be honest, I do not and in most cases cannot notice the frame rate difference between 30 and 60fps. I’m not arguing that they shouldn’t try and make it look good, but I also don’t think most people care.
lol
And where the hell are the mods?
It's far from the most absurd thing, but I really "like" the suggestion that somehow out of 3000 people in New York, somehow none of them were Jewish.
any particular reason kotaku is approving these comments?
Folks, what a sight to take in!
Nice sanity there bwo
Wow. I cannot imagine being this delusional. To not only believe that your “liberties” aka making death and bomb threats were denied by private businesses, but to believe that jews who literally have nothing to do with your attack on trans people are to blame for the backlash against your own actions.
I wouldn’t expect it to be. Miles Morales wasn’t packed-in with Spider-Man on PS5; it was actually the reverse: Spider-Man Remastered (the game we’re talking about here) was a digital pack-in with the “Ultimate Edition” of Miles Morales on PS5.
The weirdest thing about how badly Square Enix continues to botch their retro re-releases is that while they’ve been putting out some of the worst examples of how to deal with old games they also have put out a bunch of other re-releases that range from “perfectly acceptable” to “top-tier example of how to modernize a…
God dammit why does Square Enix do this EVERY SINGLE TIME. Who at that company thinks this looks better?
If you need me I’m gonna be over on the Reddits all day laughing at a bunch of dipshits losing their minds.
