I’m guessing it didn’t. Doesn’t sound like you would have bought the game anyways. Anyone who is actually going to shell out $40 for a 20 year old game isn’t going to be satisfied by dicking around in an alpha build. But sure, keep defending heavy handed tactics in defense of the all mighty dollar.

Yes, I read the article. But, my point is, who cares they they hacked an alpha build?

I’m aware they can and should defend their IP, when harm is being done to it. But you can’t tell me you honestly believe someone who would have bought the retail version would decide not to because they have a hacked APLHA instead?

I’m a Texas resident and recently I was in a pawnshop doing some shopping. A woman came in with a handgun and tried to hand it to the employee to pawn. The employee asked if it was unloaded and the woman said it wasn’t. She was told to take it outside and unload it, and she responded by asking the correct way to do

I’m having trouble understanding why Blizzard even cares about this? I don’t see how it would cost them sales, and it IS a twenty year old game so it’s not like anyone is going to spoil something. They have plenty to lose from this bad publicity and nothing to gain that I can see.

Okay, that makes it clearer, thank you. But, whats the alternative you’d prefer from nvidia?

I’m completely confused by your comment. The article doesn’t say anything about making fewer GPUs.  And what does any of this have to do with e-waste and the environment?

No, they are saying they have  mixed feelings about it, which are feelings they are allowed to have.

I’m STILL not convinced Courtney was actually 16. I mean, has it ever been proven?

They burned their fans and I hope they feel the effects for a long time.”
I can’t see wishing harm to a company who had always done right by gamers before this and has made one of the best games of all time. Not to mention the hundreds of people they employ.  Personally, I hope they learn their lessons, and get right

How did this guy figure out the code though?

What is missing besides multiplayer and Pinnacle Station?

No one with the entire internet of porn at their fingertips is masturbating to Twitch streamers in bikinis. Unless that is their very specific kink of course. And considering you’re prudish enough you can’t even TYPE the word “masturbate” I’m not going to use your judgment on what qualifies as porn.

They don’t need to put in millions, but anything that they contribute is an investment that will pay for itself. And what, the foundation shouldn’t accept money from Koch because renewable industries can’t match it?

doubling down on having missed the point doesn’t mean you didn’t. None of the things you just listed are anything Mike Rowe argued against.

Then you missed the point of Safety Third, like a lot of people. Safety First is just an outright lie. Absolutely no industry anywhere puts Safety First. If they did they wouldn’t be able to function. So, when you lie to people by saying safety is your first priority, they eventually just tune you out. If you’re

Are Mike Rowe and his foundation supposed to turn down money from Koch that pays for people to get an education they otherwise couldn’t afford? Maybe the right question to ask is why people on the renewable side of things aren’t doing the same in an effort to get people into the type of jobs those industries inevitably

Dead Cells does it better than almost anyone, but thats also a requirement of its genre. My beef is really with procedurally generated stuff in OTHER genres, like metroidvanias, platformers, and rpgs.

Lee County Florida had a statue of Lee outside the courthouse, which was vandalized and has finally been moved to a museum. Of course it was met with cries of “erasing history”, but none of these people could point to any history that was actually being erased. Lee never set foot in Lee County. It was named that by

I loved Guac 1 & 2, but I’m loathe to spend money anymore on “procedurally generated” dungeons. In the future AI may be able to  generate dungeons that compete with humans, but we aren’t there yet. They are boring.
