My only experience with this developer is having played SpaceChem, but that game is awesome, addictive, and friggin hard. I’m going to go buy this Opus Magnum now. I prefer to buy games on GOG rather than Steam, but they lost my dollar this time.

I definitely am worried about this. It’s happened in all of the, very few, games I bought and beat at launch and then had to wait months for DLC (like Zelda). But in this case, it really did take me most of the game to get very good at killing stuff so I don’t want to go through that curve again.

Nintendo tried to do it in the 80s, they were successful in Japan but obviously failed in the US. More recent and relevant would be MS trying to keep the XB1 from playing pre-owned games.
