Well you kind of glossed over the fact that it IS a port. It wasn’t a game built from the ground up for the Switch. Development was delayed to port it over, and this patch making decent improvements tells me that they didn’t really have time to optimize it before release.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that seems to have gotten more from WD1. I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but in the first one I definitely felt like a badass hacker, and in this one I feel like a nerd that uses an app to hack everything. Also, the removal of the sideswipe when driving was a big loss in my book.

The only legit complaint out of the bunch is that the story ended too abruptly. If a bunch of dweebs down voted it over non-issues like micro-transactions, I don’t really put that blame on the developers. Dweebs will be dweebs.

I just hope its as good as I remember it. It really grabbed me with the setting, the music, and the battle system. And yet, I dont think I ever finished it. I will this time.
