Southern Dandy — You clearly know more about the details of this negotiation than I do, and I won't pretend to have some sort of insight that I don't. Were the referees assholes? Maybe. I tend to think not, perhaps because I'm more convinced by Tommy's arguments than by the dreck written by "journalist" Ashley Fox.

Oh, I'm ready to see shades of grey. I'm just waiting for you to reveal them with something other than shoddy logic and pretend equations. Take your time. I'll be over here.

There it is, everyone! Today's exercise in false equivalency, brought to you by Southern Dandy. Nice. (Does it suck for teachers? Yes. Are America's priorities all screwed up, with this as Exhibit 4,309,928,117? Yes. But adding that up to equal anger at the referees involves huge leaps and bad math. This was

Please keep talking, Todd. Please, please keep talking. And running for office. And just being your Todd Akin self.

Is that you, Ashley Fox? It must be. Same strained apologia for the greedy owners, same half-baked logic. Only think I don't get is the screen name.

Oh, those guys! Now I get it.

About Goodell: Why do the players hug him so, uh, eagerly at the draft? Does he require it? Threaten them? Or do they just not yet know what a nasty gasbag he is?

Undergarments aside, who is this outfit supposed to appeal to? I think it's fair to say it wasn't selected by accident. But what demographic are they trying to hit? Republican leaners who think the Romneys aren't edgy enough? The leather lobby? I'm confused.

And she's wearing a Tebow jersey too!

Honest question: Why is that Prada video "amazing"? I watched all 2:05 of it, and I'm not sure I get the genius. Is there something about the form I'm missing?

Hmm. Very interesting.

Yeah, yeah. Great news. Whatever.

Don't go, Todd. Please stay. Run as often as you can, in fact.

Fun to hang out with — and coordinated wardrobes too!

Not just *about* Walmart. She sings *for* Walmart — and the crowd looks jazzed, doesn't it?

A couple of questions based on that picture of Ann Romney: Is that the same dress she wore during her speech at the RNC — or something very close to it? If so, is it strange that she's wearing it on the stump too, especially next to a be-jeaned Mitt?

I realize you're simply echoing the Gallup poll, but can we please tamp down the "we like Ann Romney" rhetoric? Folks might dislike Mitt more, but that doesn't mean they "like" Ann. They just don't know how patronizing and condescending she is.

Too true and touché.

I'm a little stunned that this guy is a partner. Not, mind you, because of the sexism or look-at-me-ism of the post—-but because of how horribly it's all done. The writing is cringeworthy and the argumentation is awful (to the extent there's any argument at all). Pity the partner's poor clients.

You're right — unless Tracie meant to suggest that Catelynn and Tyler were quiet, polite, and deferential to others in the library.
