I know it's not unheard of, but it's not gotten much love this week, and is one of my favorites.

The classic anime, Riding Bean, has been a favorite of mine. 80's synth rock - check. Absurd shifting - check. Ridiculous vehicle modifications - check. Car chase with a BMW 5-series - check. Car chase with a Classic Shelby Mustang - check. Hero with Rambo style headband & an RS-200 - just gravy.

The first film to come to mind for me was Wasabi. Featuring the comic genius of Jean Reno, his contact in Japan is driving a lovely Citroen.
