I have a black and barely modified '88 GT-FOUR. It's a great car but the aftermarket is ridiculously small, especially for a Japanese car. It gets even more ridiculous when you compare it to the later two generations which have plenty of support.

Thank you doing the translating, I was just going to it myself. I'll just comment on this to move it out of the gray so people can see it.

They're Swedes, and we use shit and fuck so much that they're barely considered swearing, while Swedish swearwords are generally used less often and therefore more serious. Also, the official language of Sweden is really Swenglish.

I will, and I'll be garaging it all winter so there's no risk of any more rust during my ownership!

It's my first car and it's in such good shape that I'm almost afraid to drive it! The only rust is on the damned sunroof (a very common problem), which I'm currently looking to replace (along with all the suspension and differential bushings) sometime this winter. It's Euro-spec though so it lacks the leather interior

As the owner of an '88 Celica GT-FOUR, I beg to differ. 80s interiors are awesome!

It's just a form of linguistic sarcasm, poking fun at the many people on the net who actually write that poorly. In this case (and in most cases, actually, since Internet humor is made up almost entirely of in-jokes/memes) it's a reference to the 5ever meme.

Came here to post this. It's the most awesome animated acid trip of a movie I've ever seen AND it's about racing!

Yeeeup, Nibbles is at it again.

This is brilliant since my mom drives a '98 GC 4.0

Nope, I agree fully with VS on this one.

I wonder if anyone will get that old meme reference

Ditto, but most people seem to disagree with that sentiment.

Handbrake turn in every intersection, biatch!

Pff, only amateurs need an Infernus to get away from the cops.

I think it's the one car that truly proves that the "boxy notchback" look of the 80s wasn't all that bad. The Monte Carlo SS is also pretty nice, but the GNX is just beautiful.

Pretty sure we wouldn't recommend a Ferrari bus to anyone.

That 75-ish MPH top speed might sound like nothing, but I know an older gentleman who collects these and it's nigh impossible to keep up with him in traffic! Their small size and and surprisingly great agility means you can pretty much drive them like motorcycles, passing cars whenever there's so much as the slightest

Now your reply got grayed out as well! It definitely seems like they've either unapproved you or manually moved the post to the grayzone. Hopefully it's a mistake, since I see nothing wrong with your post!

Me too, can't wait for the next episode!
