I think that was meant as a sarcastic joke in reference to the Thanks, Obama! meme, but that's just the vibe I got from it.

Thanks for the hat tip!

It's difficult NOT to like 4WD and a turbocharged engine when you're 18 and it's your first car, but there's also the soon-to-be-collectible/collector's car aspect to it (which is why I've decided to keep it as clean as possible). The fact that it looks much more refined and discrete than the later (and considerably

Are you really sure that's an RX-7? Looks a lot more like something American from the 50s.

I'd love to do that, but I just bought it a week ago as my first car! There's also the fact that Skylines usually go for at least twice what I payed for it here...

I'm in the same boat, and I'm in Sweden where there's never been any annoying import restrictions to speak of! It boggles my mind that I have yet to see an R30 or R31 at any meets here, since Skylines (especially R32s, R33s and R34s) are usually plentiful.

You prefer the R33? Me too!

Well, this page has been correct so far.

I've been wanting to film a sketch like that for ages!

To all the people making snide remarks about low displacement pedestrian cars in Europe: remember that this is Sweden, the second capital of muscle cars and 1000+ horsepower Supra(-based) builds. Just have a look at some of the builds Speedhunters have covered recently if you don't believe me.

Which, since the final issue of the manga ended on a rather depressing note, is now canonically lying scrapped in a junkyard somewhere.

I'd wager their victory per dollar ratio evens that out.
