“I cannot sir. I know you’re aware of our body camera policy. You know I cannot turn off this body camera,” the officer says. “I have taken an oath to uphold the law.”
Honestly, it took the Jalopnik staff a moment to figure out that this was a fraud.
I’m glad he did it pro bono, because $7500 to go into court and say “you can’t break a law that doesn’t exist” seems a bit steep.
This time around, they showed two vehicles under sheets, just saying something’s coming.
Impressive that your one comment was 1,000x more helpful than the article
It’s a dart. Or a missile. Its performance comes from thrust not lift, is what I’m getting at. Or more accurately, its relative thrust to drag. Yes, there is some lift, but its tiny compared to it just being a low drag dart. It’s a clever interpretation of what a paper airplane is...but I would say this is a record…

It’s probably time cyclists carry protection. I don’t necessarily mean guns, but more people are going to die unless we start using some kind of deterrent, since cops and politicians won’t do anything. I’ve thought about getting a brightly-colored bat or crowbar and carrying it in a bag because assaults are becoming…
If I had a nickel for every time the inside of my skull got X-Rayed by an oncoming Acura MDX...
If it’s toxic it would be less akin to the OK/WP hand gesture and more like saying GG-EZ. I would imagine context is a huge factor too. So game where both players were close then probably not. Game where one play steamrolls would be a dick move by the winner.
base rate is BS since you never pay just that. You should take the whole bill and divide it by KWH. That’s your real electricity cost.
Do you live in a cardboard box without electricity? How do you use less than 500? My old house in Houston in the summer would push 3000kwh a month easy.
I have over 4 years left on a 100% renewable contract...at 14 cents for power and delivery charges. Looking at the market place now, there is a 3 month contract for 10.8 cents (again power and delivery). YMMV.
Maybe they were looking at least efficient EVs in the most expensive electricity areas, and comparing that to a Prius in a cheap gas state.
If you wanted to know the feeling gorillas get when you unflinchingly stare them directly in the eyes, NVIDIA’s got you covered.
City folks don’t think of urban folks when they go on their anti-truck rants. And as City’s gain political power from population density, their narrow sightedness is going to destroy urban and farming life.
I think it’s about the capacity to haul more people. If you have two kids and two parents, you only need two rows. But if you have three and you need to haul friends and relatives too - you can. And if you don’t need to haul them, you’ve got a lot of space for luggage, groceries, pets, sports equipment and so on.
