So, if I was working on a hobby project in my workshop and there’s a chance a Lithium based battery I am using had a chance to burst into flame, I am supposed to have a couple of buckets of sand to throw the battery in one and then cover it with the sand from the other.  Can we not dump truckloads worth of batteries…

I’m guess the projectile is a decent amount heavier than a ball that is typically thrown by a human (football, baseball, etc.) and that throwing it would be more akin to trying to throw a baseball sized ball bearing. Idk about you but I can’t throw a baseball sized ball bearing 37 MPH.

I mean, if a company is going to shut their servers down, this is the way to do it. Let people run their own instead of just killing them and leaving the game unplayable. 

They’re letting you keep your data and server data to play on privately hosted servers. You don’t have to stop playing the old version, you just can’t do it on their hosted servers.
Someone else said the devs announced they were going to transfer everything to the new engine, my guess is that was their intention and…

Oof I hadn’t heard that those were exclusive already.  Welp there goes my theory. 

M$ has no intention, in my opinion, of making games console exclusive. They are trying to follow their Enterprise model of Everything as a Service. They want to get the IP for all these game studios so they can wrap it up into Game Pass and sell Game Pass on every console.

Last time I got a speed camera ticket I decided to just ignore it after reading that in my state those tickets can’t hold up in any court so they don’t come after you for them, they just send them and hope people pay.  It’s been over a year I think now that I ignored it and nothing but crickets so far.
