I’ve read the leaks and think they sound great. Not sure where you’re getting the idea that it “negates” the OT, though. I didn’t get that impression at all, and am more excited for TRoS than I was before reading them.

I’ve read those leaks, and I don’t get the impression it’ll “negate” anything. It sounds to me like it’ll tie things off really nicely from Episode I-XI. I’m honestly more excited for TRoS after having read the leaks, I think it sounds like it’ll be a lot like how Endgame was a triumphant bow on top of a massive story.

My first though, too. But I don’t think the show is explicitly tied to the Jackson movies, so I’m not sure that idea holds up. I’d support it though, for sure.
