I don't know if I buy it as a coffee replacement, but that sounds damn delicious. And probably healthier than the mystery liver sausage (I think it's pork) that keeps falling into my basket at the butcher shop.

That does sound annoying, you would think they would allow the main app to at least still alert you of new messages waiting. Even if you need the website or messenger app to view them. You might consider setting up an email notification or something for when you have a message, not that that's much of a solution.

That's a good point, you might see more ads albeit for shorter time spans. I wonder if that's considered by the advertisers when buying ad space. Still, it's similar to just showing a new ad whenever a user switches from say, news feed to photos, without ever leaving the app.

It's a little like that. If carving out MSNBC was going to come entirely at the expense of taking viewers from NBC, then yes. But of course NBC would want to make the two networks distinct and attract new viewers. NBC certainly isn't selling to advertisers the idea that people are watching both channels at once.

I don't see how this is functionally much different than having it all in one app. As long as the various unbundled apps integrate with one another properly the experience shouldn't change. I'm a little biased as I have Messenger installed and nothing else so I lose nothing here, but I prefer not having a huge bloated

Pretty bland choice of imagery for the weighty themes of frustration and sucky service. Is there a shortage of photos of holocaust victims I'm unaware of?

You probably want to open a new Google account anyway, no? Or are Chromecasts permanently tied to a particular account? I got 3 free months of GPM streaming through an unrelated promotion and made the mistake of putting it on my regular gmail account, so now when I use it on my HTPC, or on a computer that isn't mine,

Me too, I don't want to get my hopes up until then!

This looks fantastic, getting this as soon as my new Z1 arrives

Larry Niven's Ringworld.

It's not really a spoiler, they show who the killer is right away.

I was thinking that too. Then I remembered she was only like 25 for the X-Files. So maybe not that surprisingly.

Seen only the Danish version but agree 100%. There's like 15 suspects over 20 episodes and they try to make a cliffhanger at the end of every one. Well made show but they could have cut it down a lot. I stuck with it for first season because I really liked the Twin-Peaks-eque creepiness of it, but never got around to

Dammit, I wanted to post the Mad Cat!

Just checked out Big Unit and it's pretty cool, especially for something that sounds like a ballad minus the vocals.

I was getting ready to mock you until I read the 2nd sentence

I sense something I've not felt since I was in the presence of... Rebel Assault.

Recently? I ask because been >5 years since I had a genuine compatibility problem with a game, or for that matter, physically took a game home from the store. Usually all you need to do these days is tweak a few video settings (if anything at all).

Offer them some woost-shire sauce and enjoy the puzzled expression.

My wife and I had a fight about this. We tried to settle it but were unable to find a dictionary that didn't list both pronunciations. I think this is a rare case where both are acceptable.
