I agree that computers are more powerful, but i don't have two grand laying around to go and blow on a gaming rig that i'll have to upgrade every year anyway.

Of course it would come up, there's a much higher chance he did it due to a religious delusion than him doing it because he saw it in a video game. This wouldn't exactly surprise me. With news before this announcement about Bungie possibly making, as Kotaku puts it, a persistent online world. The stories match up. And i'd be disappointed if Bungie didn't move away from the Halo mold.

@CrimsonAngel: The difference between most organized religions and scientology, is you don't have to donate tens of thousands of dollars to read the next chapter of a Science Fiction novel, and you don't have to write everyone out of your life who doesnt like that religion.

The old manuals from the SNES era were pretty damn cool. I didn't have to imagine what the sprites actually would look like in high detail. I remember getting Super Metroid and the manual had a bunch of concept art and a few high-res sprites. I miss those days
