Is there anything more to the Model S Plaid than crazy power? I’ve seen article after article about that, but as far as I can tell it is still using the same interior and pretty much the same exterior?

What I’m finding implausible about the direction of the franchise is this: Humans are capable of driving animals to extinction with wild efficiency. Wiping out an entire global dinosaur population would take us a long weekend if we issued a $1,000/tag hunting license. Hunters love hanging animal heads on their walls,…
Right, but that’s just basically a preorder shopfront, seeing as the game’s development always has and always will be actually funded by Gearbox (obviously, since a proper studio would burn through $1.5 million in no time).
Hm, looks like the company started in August of 2015 and they started allowing non-accredited users to invest in campaigns in December of 2015. So pretty close to their entire run has been like that. Just thinking that Homeworld 3 allowing this sort of thing isn’t all that unusual for a Fig project.
That makes sense, I can see Embracer giving a hard no to sharing profits on a newly acquired IP.
Yeah, I don’t want a 6000 PSI air tank designed and built by Tesla anywhere near me, let alone directly behind me sitting on top of 800KG of li-ion batteries.
Books are well and good, but a large portion of my daily reading allowance is spent here on io9. Sadly, that experience has been made harder by recent changes to the io9 specific page layout. I’m sure that, given time, we’ll be able to all understand how accommodating the previous layout was and go back to the ease…
Oh good. You’re here James. I was talking with Valerie over the weekend about how the new page layout for io9 is mighty disagreeable. Not so much talking, but posting a comment about it in every one of her articles. But now that the mon-fri writers are back, I can share this information with the rest of you. Hopefully…
Hi again. Please change the io9 page format back to it’s previous iteration. That is all.
Same, when Tesla first started I was absolutely a fan. Now that I can afford one, I don’t really want one. I still like the exterior styling, and don’t really care about the charging (since 99% of the time I’d be charging at home) but I’m right there with you for all of the other reasons you mentioned. Add to that the…
When the Model S was announced, there was no car on the market that I wanted more. But I couldn’t afford it.
Yeah, that’s another thing they can keep. Fortunately, while they may be able to keep screwing up new vehicles in ways that make me not want them, they cannot screw up older cars that are just getting less expensive.
We are attempting to get latest back for our page because well, that’s how normal people use the internet and some folks don’t get that.
Hey, all, commenting here since this seems to have the largest collection of feedback. We hear you all, this is not just an io9 thing but company wide and I am not happy about it either. We are attempting to get latest back for our page because well, that’s how normal people use the internet and some folks don’t get…
The new layout is unusable as far as I’m concerned — there’s no way to find the latest articles **at all** that I can see. I was thinking that the first article in each category would be the latest, so at least you could slog your way through that way ... but as far as I can tell, that’s not the case (ex: when I…
2 things:
Maybe, but in Walking Dead whatever caused the outbreak was airborne, and had already been leaked and spread all over the world. The initial infector, patient zero, was one single zombie in this, very weird, like a tree frog or something maybe Zeus’s touch alone can infect as well.
I got as far as “trained military man on top secret convoy fails to notice CAR BEAMS HITTING HIM DIRECTLY IN THE FACE” before deciding this was too stupid to watch. And what makes it even more insulting is that it’s an easy fix: the other car simply doesn’t have its lights on which is how it’s able got be missed by…
Walmart can't do that, they used all their locked up aisles for products primarily purchased by black people. They aren't really subtle.
He definitely has a disturbing interest in the trope of women only being interesting characters if they are sex workers and/or victims of sexual assault. Of course Sucker Punch puts thus fully on display, but 300, which came out earlier, really stands out to me. Since the graphic novel was a bit too short to fill out…
