GOB and Tony Wonder's episode was also fantastic.

It's done in the police and military for the same reason digital0verdose said: To make sure it was heard over the hectic sounds of loud city streets/a noisy battlefield.

It would take days, SO MANY DAYS to write up that accident report!

Those are lights being powered by a generator (presumably). If it's cloudy (as it is in the screenshot), stadium-like lights are still super bright.

Their radio tapes would be entertaining.

This should totally be a Crayola color.

Reminds me of this wonderful film that convinced my 12-year-old self that I absolutely needed a Nintendo 64.

So I'm guessing this is the same things that causes me to be severely annoyed when a DJ or someone pretending to be one ends a track early. Even when I'm listening to music in the car or while exercising, I have to let a song finish.

My theory is that since we're putting in so much mental effort and straining our eyes and pushing our coordination when we game, any moment of displeasure or joy is an explosion because we're not exerting ourselves physically. What would amount to a simple "Yes! Nice job guys!" and a couple high-fives in a physical

Is this music from Skyward Sword? If so, I definitely need to play that game.

Oh, and sorry. Spoilers. Of course, as it's the ending of a game.

This reminded me to re-watch the ending of Episode 2. Gives me watery eyes and goosebumps every time.

I prefer this music video with gaming references.

I took a sip of a drink just to spit it out in a fit of laughter.

I laughed harder than I should've at that.

I've had two cars in a row that have the check engine light come one (both older vehicles - 2001). In both cases, the mechanic had done the o2 sensor replacement in order to pass inspection. In one vehicle, a Ford Focus, it worked once for several months and then I needed a catalytc converter in order to pass

Probably the low fuel light? :p

I've never seen Cliffhanger. Whenever I am somehow forced to think of it, I think of Bobby's World's version. I can't find a youtube video or photo of it but trust me, it happened.

I believe that's just the cost of the fuel. Factor in all of that and it's much, much more expensive. I'm guessing the idea is that the the equipment is already purchased and the crew is on the clock anyway so the only true cost of responding is the fuel. I'd side with your argument though. Fake calls are rude, rude,

Yes. Drug dealers do it all the time. If the cops are sitting on a particular corner that they deal from, they'll call 911 claiming there's been a shooting/someone has a gun/someone's stabbed relatively nearby (far enough for the police to be gone for 10-15 minutes but close enough to ensure their response to the
