1.8T or TDI? I am going to be in the market for another VW in the next 2 years, once my ‘07 Rabbit explodes around 250k miles. I am just curious is the 1.8T has enough oomph to move the wagon around. The cost of a 1.8T plus a ECU chip from APR = TDI price.

Who are these people who can’t keep their VWs on the road? I have owned 4 in my lifetime. ‘95 Jetta, ‘04 Passat, ‘07 Rabbit, ‘12 GLI. Never has any problems with any of these cars. Every VW owner I know has never had any problems with their cars.
