Just read the link below, holy crap I had no idea.

I just saw on a job board that they're looking for an intern to work on an upcoming film. Blech.

My little studio — which has a separate living and dining area, a full kitchen and a clawfoot bathtub — looks like a mansion in comparison to these places. I am never going to complain about my place ever again.

"Oh, okay" is a great response to Melissa Gorga's statement :-)

I'm really glad you got out of it. My case was harder for me to exit, since my friend was very giving.

Wow, holy crap. When I read this I thought "narcissist," not depression. It sounds like your friend just took and took.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure that at their core, both of our friends are loving, good people. I understand that with depression it's very easy to lose perspective and take things personally — I struggle with that myself (I think everyone does to some point) when I'm feeling down. But I try my hardest to not take

Did your friend have the same sense of entitlement — that everything you were doing needed to be dropped, for her?

One of my dearest friends struggled with depression, and it destroyed our nearly decade-long friendship.

25 is considered an "old maid" by their standards?! Yeeks

You would think the gender inbalance would give women more power. When there's too many men, the men try a lot harder - versus in cities where women outnumber men.

Nice! I would love to read the actual profile! I also did find this during my break, it's from Sassy (I used to love that mag was as teen) and an unflattering interview of someone who was on "Saved by the Bell" which was popular at the time.

Holy crap. That HAS to be one of the worst ledes I have read, ever. Bringing up 9/11 in a profile about Angelie Jolie?!!!!

Or how they were an ugly duckling/weren't popular in high school. Where can I find a scathing celebrity interview?!

I'm finally able to buy magazines for enjoyment. When I was entrenched in that world as a magazine editor, I subscribed to and read a ton of travel, dining, lifestyle and fashion mags, but mainly to study their graphic design and layout, and use them as inspiration when redesigning our publications.

They are SO formulaic and I hate reading them now.

At least he could tell the difference between us and knew we are not all the same :-) But I concur that he's a fuckwad.

I agree. My Dad is 79 and still cooks for himself. No excuses!
