I love when game physics go wrong like this... it's like the next best thing to cartridge-tilting from the N64 days.

the whole "everyone has the same button combinations to perform moves" was what hooked me with the game, I didn't need to switch my brain between what button combinations or what buttons need to be held in order to be as efficient as I wanted to be like what Street Fighter expects me to do.

this is a great collection to look through, admire and study, but... I'm kinda bothered the Genesis/Megadrive is completely skipped over :/

I'm gonna be that one guy and say the animation actually doesn't look that bad. If the series actually proves to be entertaining on its own, I won't complain. Hell, already this is looking to be better than a lot of animated comedy shows these days.

Animation, especially traditional animation is pretty labor-intensive. If the character(s) is highly-detailed, it's a lot more work to get every bit of detailed animated properly in every frame of animation.
