I lost my husband to melanoma 4.5 years ago. He had just turned 50, and I was 10 years younger. I am better now, and even got extremely lucky in finding a rather amazing, patient love again 8 months ago, but I am still a mess in spots.

What is crazy to me is the number of conservatives lashing out on twitter about how much of a class act Melania is and how Michelle Obama has no class. I seriously can’t even process how anyone can see FLOTUS as not being a class act, regardless of politics.

Actually, I wanna say that I follow both Katy Tur and Sopan Deb on Twitter and I have a lot more respect for traditional broadcast news companies (NBC and CBS in this case) for putting such quality journalists on the road. I’ve learned a lot, following them.

DOI employee here. From my perspective, this sets a really scary precedent. I could be working in the field and have some militia asshole thinking I’m trying to “steal his land” point his rifle at me with no consequence because of this legal precedent.
