I had the exact same reaction when she told me! I mean, I knew that pants weren't allowed, but the curls issue- dumbstruck. She graduated high school in 1969 so we've come a long way since then. She even remembers when the school got its first African American student.

That's not how Plan B works. If a baby is already growing, it does NOTHING to stop that. It simply prevents ovulation while the sperm are still making their way.

I didn't hear the word 'tenure' until I'd been at college for a year. But it was in the south and it was pronounced 'ten-year' so I didn't know how to look it up without fumbling around a bit. This was before Google though, so there was no 'do you mean, tenure?' Thingie in the search bar. Thanks for the compassion :)
