I don't think you're wrong there, that has been a common complaint with everything I have read. I'm alright with it not being a rocket though, it has to be a daily driver.

I may have to give both of the trannys a shot then. I've driven a few vehicles with the CVT, and have yet to really be impressed. I was told that Subaru's CVT was much better though.
I've been eyeing the XV with the CVT, but havn't had a chance to take one out. Is it really that bad?
