I would imagine Microsoft has quite a bit of validation tests for their software before they release, but I have not worked for Microsoft so I cannot say. I work in HW verification and we do 3-5+ years of verification before making an ASIC, but not so sure about software side of things.

Sounds like it is both Microsoft and AMD that are fixing the bugs.

I agree when it is for a person that will appreciate the hardware and device. But for a kid who will probably mistreat the tablet I would probably go the cheaper option until they will take care of the device.

You can get a USB C to 3.5mm cord or adapter. I keep one in places I need to plug in directly like my boombox.

I am more of a RDR2, Elite Dangerous, X4, CP77 player. So my 3090 can’t hit 100fps at ultra settings on my 1440 21:9 100hz on the high demand games.

It would be quite hard to push this to 240 fps even with a 3090. I wish I had $2500 to spare though, my 21:9 could use an upgrade.
