Yes you can change the launcher on the Pixel 5.

I did the opposite and switched from Samsung to Pixel 5. So much better, no Samsung bloatware and everything works as expected. No issues with driving mode, I turned off app suggestions, pixel buds pair instantly, I use google assistant all the time(bixby was horrible), and I use the call screening all the time.

Samsung SmartThings is the smart hub. I have since switched to Home Assistant run on a raspberry pi much better than SmartThings.

Check your libraries a lot have 3D printers now. Your local makerspace might also have a few, but usually there is a fee to join. There used to be websites for local 3D printers but it seems most of them have gone internal. I’ve seen a few 3D print request on my local Buy Nothing group on Facebook too.
