I feel like sad and distraught just looking at that picture.

I am very skeptical of any fantasy fiction in which women appear naked/etc more times than men. Makes me suspect they are pandering to the "lowest common denominator," and that is off-putting.

It's not like other conservative nutjobs haven't tried to link homosexuality with murder, though. Sometimes I wonder if I am really the same species as these people.

This isn't strictly related, but this reminded me of the "Fun Fearless Females" thing in Cosmopolitan. I don't like it because I feel the word "female" is less important and more exclusionary than "woman." Particularly for some transwomen and others.

Nothing wrong with masturbation, but that's kind of a creepy and uncomfortable shirt to see someone wearing.

They both kind of suck.

I don't believe in using the word slut to describe anyone. Some people may see the word as simply "women who sleeps with lots of dudes," but that ignores the larger context of how and why the word is used by many others. To me, the word existed in the first place for the patriarchy to shame and control women's sex

I'm not a man, but this "menz" thing is annoying and diminishes the larger point.

Is it fair to say slut is off-limits, but then call a woman (or anyone) a bitch as an insult? They are both pretty gendered words (at least in practice) and I'm sure there can be better insults to use.

There seems to be some bias in the picture, but I would excuse at least much of it considering the subject matter and point.

I'm going to be excited to see if/when the swear words of today become less taboo, if not totally normalized later on. Like, it's going to be great if no one gives a shit about saying fuck.

You shouldn't be surprised given how many anti-women policies Republicans introduce and support.

"Jews and most Protestants also believe that married women have a right to sexual attention"

Too bad Islam is still a patriarchal, sexist religion.

Doesn't Rush Limbaugh use the term? He's pretty much a scumbag of a being.

Even assuming they do look like that, who cares? Unless you yourself are a furry brony, what does it matter?

If more women were prolific killers, are we sure that they wouldn't have as much men followers who worship them and make excuses for them? Especially if they were traditionally attractive?
I mean, we don't really have a level playing field to decide that women in particular are more likely to be attracted to killers

I would have kind of liked Twilight to have a love interest (instead of one of the other characters) in the main show because bookish/nerdy girl/woman characters are typically treated as sexless and aromantic in fiction. They're usually not the love interest nor do they have one. When they do, it's very often

Thank you - finally a legitimate point and not a vague knee-jerk reaction. I agree that it's a problem, although I don't think it's necessarily damning.

This is genuinely saddening to see.
