I control a Vizio monitor with Chromecast built in using Google Home devices. We’ve come a long way from the days we could call a little kid all the way from another room to manually turn the knob on the tv to a channel and adjust the antenna for us.

Those 5 scripts legit sound like blowing smoke up someones bum. I’d be more comfortable just saying “nah, kick rocks”. But most of the other workarounds sound plausible.
