Totally agree. Here is picture of the principal from the school website wearing a sleeveless top. She is exposing MORE skin than the poor student.

I mean it seems really unlikely that the principal was going into the change room with them. Then again the escalation of this scenario brings a whole bunch of stuff into question.

Maybe this is because I just finished watching The Keepers, but the fact that the principal actually said she had to come with him/her to the changing/dressing area gives me pause. I wouldn’t go back with him/her either. That’s really creepy.

Cops have no business being in schools but definitely have no business being involved in a fucking dress code issue. The fact that the officer didn’t look at the principal and walk away underscores that their role isn’t to protect and serve anyone but those in power.

I think economics is probably the biggest factor. Women entering the workplace means you can be financially stable outside of marriage and you can leave when things go bad. My grandfather was a wife beating alcoholic, but my grandmother was only able to leave him when she started receiving benefits.
