And besides Chrono Trigger had on screen enemies which some of the time you could not dodge (effectively making them random encounters) and it's battle system was very well done and you wanted to fight them anyway.

Ryuhei Kitamura was the new director, but only for the cutscenes (which I think are awesome, perhaps a little bit out of place in Metal Gear but still) .

I kinda thought the line "You are bad guy, but you are not bad guy" was about this very thing, you know to be lampshade some stuff like that.

Looks pretty cool, but damn man why the hell is Nintendo the bad guy, I feel sad :(

And this my friends is how the 90's console wars started.

Well apart from the jaggies (which is kind of unfair given the different resolution between the wii and the wii u) You can easily see the difference when you check the backgrounds, the Wii U backgrounds look much, much better, in the first one the pyramids in the background even have depth of field.

Well yeah, the jaggies are noticeable but the most glaring difference is in the backgrounds, the look much better and they even have depth of field.

What is it with Mel Brooks and Kotaku today?

Oh my god!! That would be all kinds of awesome!!

One thing that I love about Kotaku, are the articles, specifically those that are investigative journalism (damn does that sound wrong, let me try again) The game articles where you guys dive into a topic and investigate the hell out of it in order to give context to the regular news stories.

That's irrelevant, we all know that Spielberg will not kill kids, but that's not the point, the point was that those were federal agents with an unknown and possibly dangerous creature, so of course they would have brought guns.

This may not be a popular view but I really, REALLY don't like Frank Miller's version of Batman, the man is way way to cynical and for a lack of a better word assholish.

I hope for the standalone version of DayZ one can do that.

You are right, but i would love, LOVE to get my hands on the joystick to use it to play on my PC, I had fond memories of that joystick.

That's very cool, but I have to ask, playing as a moderator, how much did it lag for you? to be honest I rather prefer first hand accounts of how it felt, rather than numbers.

I agree though I do feel that considering server costs and the quantity of people playing something like a monthly fee of say $2 or $3 would actually be more helpful towards server costs and the like.

Wait what? I had not heard this, how was KOTOR 2 retconned, and what the hell did they do to KOTOR?

Hmmm the price for me it's still 12.49, I guess since I live in South America, there is a price difference or something, which would be bullshit, but 12 bucks it's still better than 50. Damn Steam Sales.

Exactly, I particularly love the beginning when he is mocking the guy saying heaven and hell. Man this is exactly how I picture deadpool to act. Kinda makes me want to cosplay as deadpool and do all kinds of shit.
