Oh I know that it was a business decision and that they probably knew that they would lose some sales, and that those press conferences were meant for US, Europe and Japan, still I would have preferred a little bit more of sincerity.

@Brian_Ashcraft and everyone else:

Well thanks, your comments and also those of @Acaeris and @reuterrat have been enlightening.

I haven't made a game of this scale, or any scale, aside from some prototypes in flixl, I am not a developer and all my comments come from the info I have been able to gather about the game, so yes, I might be wrong, and I certainly only have a superficial knowledge of how this kind of server side game works.

Please mate, this is not about waiting two weeks to play (which is an excellent suggestion by the way, for all games) this is about protesting that the game needs an always on connection to play.

Guild wars was always marketed as an MMO, a different kind of MMO but an MMO in the end, Diablo 3 comes with a single player component which is a whole different beast.

Why would have it been a huge deal? There is going to be an offline mode once the pirates figure out how to do it, and Blizzard is well aware of that fact, and in an interview they said that it would have been possible but they decide not to (i will find the interview later and post it). There are going to be hacks

I disagree, the review bomb is actually a valid form of protest, I agree that a review should be fair and balanced, IF we are talking about professional reviews, customer reviews are another thing entirely.

Not yet, I'm finding that my level is not good enough yet to actually try an show my stuff. But I'm hoping yo have something by the end of next month since I finally have some free time just to study and get better at it. I work primarily in Maya, by the by. Still mad props to you man, your art it's awesome.

Those are Zbrush renders right? man you do some truly awesome work. Man i wish I was half as good as you in zbrush.

Oh yes, at last. Truly this is a joyous day! I would say more, but really this is Freaking awesome.

Really, OEM versions don't come with the DVD installer? or is the recovery disc just only has the version that came with the PC?

Hahahah oh don't worry, I got that, but my experience was so bad that I still get frustrated when I hear XP 64 bits.

At the time I installed XP 64 because I was using Maya and After Effects to do 3D, I had 6 GB of Ram and wanted to use them. But I had so many headaches trying to get everything to work, that I ended unisntalling XP 64 bits after 2 months.

If you have 32-bit Win7 you automatically also have 64-bit Win7. Both versions comes in the install disc, so it's not really a problem.

No, No, No, NO!! XP 64 bit sucks like a industrial grade vacuum cleaner. I had it a long time ago, and frankly it's not worth all the hassle, no drivers, games ran slow... seriously you just made me have an horrible flashback.

Wait so who are this people that play Battlefield 3 on PC in 32 bit? Don't you need a high spec PC to even attempt to play the game?

Also I'm thinking you could probably daisy chain a few of the sensors to expand the work area, considering the price it's not too much of a stretch.

Hmm while I'm not planning to buy the game for the stupid always on DRM i would like to play it, so if no one else is interested pass it on to me, I would appreciate it and I would really like to see how things have changed from Diablo 2.

Think of it like this, what if you buy, say Modern Warfare 3 because you happen to like the single player story, but when you want to play the SINGLE player campaign you can't because the servers are down? would you not be pissed?
