I don't engineer the parts themselves, but I've never heard of any "about to fail" techniques aside from software getting faults or no signal from a part. You don't need a brake by wire system to have automated braking. There are other ways to build pressure in the system (namely, the pumps and motors I talked

The main piece of hardware would be the radar system (or some sort of distance monitor) for the autopilot to even work as an adaptive cruise control. More cameras would have to be added for lane keeping features. With the electric power steering already in the Teslas, you can possibly use software without hardware

ATS Coupe 2.0l turbo with a 6 speed manual. Not out yet, but when it does... It's a great looking car, with a great chassis and an engine that can be tuned to have more power than the v6 option (very easily too). Not only are you rolling around in a great drivers car, you're rolling around in a cadillac chick

I'm just going to leave this "Kugelmotor" here for you guys to wrap your head around.

If you look at the rear wheels, you'll see a tiny stand hidden in the shadows. That's what holds up a bike (and does a pretty great job of it). As for the female version, I think they photoshopped out the kickstand.

The new 2014 Corvette Stingray. When looking at these pictures, I kind of feel meh about it. That some proportions are off or something like that. But I get to see several of these every day, up close, and I must say that these cars look utterly beautiful and outstanding in person. People say the rear taillights

Am I the only one who was hoping that the lawn power blades would be swapped out for fans to create a vacuum underneath? Like the Chaparral 2J. I know it's not useful (or particularly good sounding) to have fans sucking up everything off road, but can we just overlook this point as we are also looking at a 130hp

I'm not too sure what your route is through the United States, but a couple months back, I drove across the country in a 16 ft box truck (from Bellingham, WA to Baltimore, MD). It's really not as fun as it sounds (and it doesn't sound very fun to begin with), however, I did find one of the most beautiful roads to

I now have a little bit more respect for the state in which I live in.

My father got a BMW Z4 for his midlife crisis car. Hard top convertible, german roadster

Definitely a ~2005 Acura RL in Opulent blue. There are scenes of the rear of the car and the taillights verify it being an RL.

Toyota: Moving forward... whether you want to or not.

What about the BMW Z4 GT3?

I-80W from Lincoln Nebraska to exit 312 . 84.4 miles of flat, desolate road only occupied by trucks and lost travelers.

3500 for a special paintjob? Try mercedes' Alubeam paint. Reported costs have been 10000 euros, 29876 AUD, and 12750 USD. Not sure which price is correct, but those are the numbers floating around on the interwebs

1. McLaren F1 - for when you want the ridiculous

No! Don't add a sun roof. The whole point of this car is to have an extremely low center of gravity. Adding a nice solid piece of thick glass to the highest point of the car would destroy that.
