While it’s by no means the biggest problem with the final season, King Bran was such a massive swerve from the show perspective that it just didn’t work (in the books, where Bran is effectively one of the three or four primary POVs it should fit better— the analogy would be the last novel having 0 Bran POV chapters…

This also gets at the inherent problem with the finale structure B&W chose— the vast bulk of the tension in the story was the fight between the living and the dead- the everyone vs. Cersei and the Sex Pirate story line was while thematically interesting always pretty much a foregone conclusion— even after the writers…

No, I think extending healthcare coverage to 15 million+ Americans (and rising with each state that expands Medicaid) is a pretty massive achievement but I could understand how you might not if you oppose universal healthcare. 

Please point to the Medicaid Expansion and subsidies in the Heritage Foundation “plan” also-- Romney literally threatened a veto and would have if it wouldn’t have been overwritten by the Democratic Supermajority in the Mass State House. This is weak after the fact spin.

Eh...it’s different as a teenager- think about all the other shit we put on our faces then-- literal acid, etc-- teenage skin is awesome for its resilience but otherwise, totally glad that’s done and I don’t break out simply from eating a few slices of pizza or sweating in gym class and not washing until the evening.
