Our company had a diversity seminar last year where the chief diversity officer said the exact same things. It’s predominantly white-male office (diversity chief is black woman) so i was pretty surprised to hear her say essentially diversity can be “a state of mind”

The crew member’s anonymous account said he pulled her limp body out of the pool, laid her on the cement, and proceeded to have oral sex w her. Obv I have no idea if that’s true (why would anyone make up something so horrible??) but that’s what I was reacting to.

My question is: Why is she suing the production company and not the man who assaulted her when she was too drunk to consent? WHile sure, I personally think that those crew members and producers who saw this and did nothing are morally reprehensible, do they have a legal “duty to care?”
