Haven't been to a Marriott brand hotel in over a year but the last time I went, they only offered ethernet. Spoke with the manager and he said that it's a common complaint from customers about their hotels. Well, if it's that common, why dont' they do something about it.

I disagree with the sitting back down to signal that you want people to leave. That's more of an invitation to relax and stay. In my former life, when some irritant came into my study, I would rise from my chair to signal that they don't have permission to sit down and to make their visit short. Worked for me.
