@hfutrell: A CPU that is one third faster is significant.
If they were worried about keeping up with the pace of IT evolution, they'd have never contracted with EDS.
@Noble Rat: I would have to guess the primary inducement for the platter to be would be the promise of easy money. I don't think anyone's suggested a forced trade in slave platters, so one would have to assume that these folks choose this bit of employment for the usual reasons.
@PACKFAN4LIFE: They just shot right past it... because you can't shoot right through it.

Wow! Dark Shadows was number one when I was in junior high school. A vampire, his love snack, a werewolf, but the creepiest part was the boy with the artificial hand of evil, and those I-Ching doorways.
@fullsoul: Yet another sign that Droid > iPhone.
The outcome of the inevitable class action suit will be 1) a few lawyers get richer, 2) a "remediation kit" gets mailed to a couple million iPhone4 users consisting of an inch long piece of electrical tape and a coupon for two free songs from the iTunes store, and 3) Android gains more marketshare.
I think someone's going to be adding ten years to the current "When do We Sunset Windows XP?" timeline.
