I wish they would quit the fighting, dump the husbands, and team up.

THAT was my main takeaway from this. That instance is pretty freakin’ egregious, but I have to read the full article to determine my overall feelings.

I’ll have to read the New Yorker piece first, but did everyone really think each joke a comedian tells is akin to testimony in a court of law?

So, not only did he attempt to kill her, which should be enough to inspire outrage, he also fucked with her career/season.

Starting to feel less like “one step forward, two steps back” and more like “half a step forward, eight steps back”

That would be valid, if that was why they were cutting the major.

I thought the point was that you had to do the creepy retinal scan before they escorted you to the front of the security lines. I wish I understood what the hell happened here.

9 doesn’t seem too young, but that’s just me.

I would argue Hugh Grant wasn’t an asshole, he just did something illegal. Can’t fault anyone for paying for sex! And I’m sure he was absolutely charming about it and stuttered awkwardly the whole time.

I don’t think this was worth stopping a song over, unless they were causing a disruption and ruining the experience for other fans.

I’m referring to the age range.

I find this confusing, because I thought the Pick Me archetypes are the girls who make these videos. Like the first video is a Pick Me girl making fun of “girly girls”.

I can see both sides of this to an extent, but his TONE is not it. And if he didn’t say this at the beginning, then why did he pursue this relationship?

For me, the most striking part of this article is that someone paid attention to a PA closely enough to gauge her feelings.

Glass, reading, and proper meals: I hear they’re all bad for growing children.

Why would you send your children here? It doesn’t make sense to me. A building with no windows, books, or supplies. Is there anything they did right?

I don’t think you can force medication or treatment in the U.S. unless they are posing a threat to themselves or others, but I’m not certain. You can probably only do an involuntary hold for 48 hours. Again, not certain as I’m not well-versed in this aspect of mental healthcare.

I’m sorry. That’s hard to deal with. It’s interesting to see what the mind latches onto when it’s not operating in a linear fashion, I guess you would say?

Isn’t it weird though that every time you encounter someone with extreme mental illness it manifests as antisemitism? I can’t tell you how many times an unwell person has clocked me or a family member and accused us of being part of the “conspiracy”. I don’t get it!

Thank you, as I haven’t even heard of his special cup before today.
