You from Texas? Me too... Part of me is sad I'm not living there right now so I can storm the capitol and emasculate some trolls.

I listened to a history podcast about the eastern front during WWI/II and it blew my mind. I believe the lady Soviet pilots were referred to as.... Night Witches? Something like that... the Germans were terrified of them.

LOVE your hashtag...

I work in infectious disease research and let me tell you, I am so tired of constantly washing my hands. So fucking tired of it. I'm always putting on hand lotion because my skin just can't handle constant application of industrial soap. What are my hands going to look like in 50 years?!

I feel insulted. I grew up down south and although I know racism exists (heartily), I know it also exists in different forms up north because I live there and am so often surprised at the level of elitist racism, or as some people call it, ironic racism. Let's please not perpetuate this stigma that only southerners

No. Texas is it's own.

I shall twist all the nipples of my enemies!

Maaaaan I remember that, but it never once crossed my mind that they were talking about anything other than the fish/her skills. :( you really think it was meant differently?! I just don't want it to be true.

God why did you do this to me? Now I have a lady boner at work.

Hmm... not that you need it, but I do not feel that you are being terrible at all in this conversation. Carry on being polite and such.

Ah, I see. I didn't know the backstory behind the Etheridge/Jolie apparent beef. It makes more sense now. It seems like the person asking Etheridge the question already knew the answer they'd get...

Also, I never once insulted you or made inferences on your character based on your responses. I'd much appreciate it if you'd not do that to me.

Okay. Look, I've tried my best to agree with you while having my own opinion because I think you have some very valid points. I feel bad that I've offended you because it wasn't my intention. I have no ill will toward either of these women in the story nor do I hate them, and I have no desire to start shit. And I

And look at the response she got for being arrogant and condescending!

Sure. These people are influential and sometimes don't realize it (or worse, sometimes do). But it's also important for everyone to understand that they can think for themselves and choose to educate themselves on an issue that Jenny McCarthy has recently made them so worried about.

No actually, I don't have to do anything. You can absolutely choose whoever you want to listen to! I had already heard about the controversy over the BRCA genes and I don't personally care what AJ or ME thinks about it.

I agree. I also am willing to bet that Angelina Jolie doesn't care what anyone thinks of her decision. Perhaps a gossip column is the wrong place to make this argument.

I guess, what I'm saying is (since I can't seem to do it right the first time) she isn't an expert and neither is Angelina Jolie! I don't even know why we give a shit about what either one of these people thinks about our individual life choices! People really should just do their own research and take their doctors'

You're right. But she's also Melissa Ethridge. You don't have to listen to her advice. She isn't deriding anyone, she isn't demanding something of you. She was asked what she thinks of this particular surgery and she gave her opinion. Lots of people believe in a different sort of medicine that really doesn't work for

I'd have to agree with you here. She was asked and she's expressing her opinion. She's making choices for her body, not anyone else's.
