That’s exactly what I was going to say. In a world where so many people double-, triple-, and quadruple-down on their ignorant comments and selfish actions (e.g., the Ice Poseidon story from yesterday), this is the most refreshing and humble thing I’ve seen in a long time.

That’s... actually one of the more gracious ways to admit cheating I’ve ever seen. Admitting, deleting all the fake stuff, and paying back the money. Deleting the socials is probably a wise decision for his own sake. More people should do that regardless of admission of guilt.

The trucker convoy is being lead by a fringe political party that wants to rejoin a “Trump led USA”... these protestors are full of American wannabes who are upset about being barred from re-entering Canada from the USA where they can’t even enter in the first place unless they’re vaxxed. I have some friends in Ottawa and from what I can tell this whole thing is pushing reaaaal close to that point. These idiots are driving around - day and night - 24 hours a day blaring their horns, intimidating local shops, clogging the streets, and threatening anyone seen wearing a mask, or not actively supporting…

This. People expect society to function a certain way, and are a bit tolerant/flexible for a short time (esp. in a big city). But when it goes on and on and there’s no intention of stopping or even pulling back, some people will snap. 

Eating raw meat, if you’re doing some level of prep to it (such as cutting, seasoning, etc.) can be totally fine. Taking bites out of whole steaks or whatnot seems quite unpleasant.

NFTs are an obvious scam and I would never buy or sell one. I’ve been in meetings where I’ve articulated this to higher ups who want to pursue them. They’re a bad idea and no one likes them.

Can we settle on a style guide standard whereby we never call these stupid influencers by their handles after the initial introduction?
