I live in a rural area with lots of older people who used to use their lots as summer vacation RV lots, the number who live year round in their RV on empty land now yet have new trucks with payments well north of an average mortgage and pricetags equal to or greater than their 10+ acre lots leaves me a little

Bought a new car last year for the driveway position of soccer dad mobile, and while I’d have loved an EV (honestly an EV Ridgeline, snap to it Honda) I definitely would *not* have opted for a Tesla just because of Musk.

Don’t give me falsehope for a bizarre little SAAB EV

We use those out here in the farm filled mountains of New England, but they’re all mostly custom done jobs...you know because American trucks are for the image of working class, not actual working class.

My god...a subterranean way to move people?! What are we going to call this innovation? A ...sub...way..? Dammit. His brilliance knows no limit.

Really?! Maybe this shows how unique all car experiences are.

Every insane thing in the headlines on AP this week and this is the event that leads to an apology tour?

Massive pickups. Out here in the rural white mountains, NH, our roads can be NARROW, throw in an oncoming modern pickup with an inexperienced driver who either is unsure and uncomfortable of his passenger side distance or simply afraid of a raspberry bush touching the paint on his $80,000 “backwoods working man” image

Oh man, we have heroin addicts robbing houses too. Better insure them, they might get access to some keys

But this is absolution society, sir, and Bill Nyes far superior net good should be ignored in the face of spinning a minority questionable event into societal gridlock of bullshittery

Yea, honestly I am pretty chill with this thing.

“Antifa! Antifa! She’s an Antifa, can we burn her?” “How do you know she’s an Antifa. “Why...she turned me into a newt!”

It died a generic chain-restaurant-meets-brewery-tour death.

Ahh I miss the Red Hook. As someone who hung out with the actual brewers of the Portsmouth, NH Redhook brewery - you know, before InBev closed it to better consolidate production - InBev was an absolute nightmare for them and has been slowly destroying what was once an amazing and truly special brand.

They have a fair point. I desperately want an electric vehicle (both the R1T and F-150 have my attention and I wouldn’t rule out a Polestar 2 if my wife said sedan only) but even just south of the border in NH where we see regular nights of -20 I have concerns, and when the highs are 1-8*F that heating system is going

I always toss a few unsweetened tidbits of dark chocolate into my french press or pour over. Never a bad decision.

We got a full set of stainless Tramontina pots and pans about 5 or 6 years ago and they have absolutely been the thing of legend. Best pans in our kitchen still and I grudgingly say that with a half ton of cast iron proudly horded.

God that ‘96 was truly one of the ugliest designs this side of a pontiac showroom...

Mp3s are a file format, I’m not sure file formats can scam people - but I’m sure you meant the digital music market place.

As a first responder I am always surprised by how unanimously we get painted as conservatives.
